Steep Hill Strings is a violin workshop and outlet based in the beautiful historic centre of Lincoln. We offer a wide range of services and instruments,  with many years of professional experience we can be sure to help you whether you require a new string or a complete restoration.

Just ring the doorbell at the bottom of the steps and you will be escorted through the secret garden to the workshop. Everything is possible, from  improving the tone of your violin, to bringing back to life those old instruments which time has forgotten.

Please note that there is a change in opening hours. The workshop will now be open five days a week , Tuesday to Saturday.

The Workshop will be closed to visitors from the 21st of June and will re-open on the 29th, due to musical commitments.
